Why did you want to join ACCESS+?
When I took my position, my society was already a part of ACCESS. I was able to do a lot of great work with ACCESS and knew that ACCESS+ would continue the work that ACCESS already started.
What is a strength of your Professional Society when it comes to DEI work?
A strength is that ASCB has leadership buy-in. Our board and executive committee understand the importance of DEI work.
What is one DEI resource you’d like to share?
The ASCB DEI strategic plan is a resource that can be useful to others.
